By 10.00am the ice on the grass had melted and the day was looking fantastic for our Bayside Open Day. Graeme and Sandra from Sandy had the BBQ up and running for  delicious Egg and Bacon Sandwiches and Linda was onto the canteen and hot drinks.

The children started to arrive and the course official called the course open at 9.40am.  We had an enthusiastic turn out with competitors coming from as far as Westernport and Geelong.  The ideal conditions lent itself to some excellent performances.  We had some very fast times across the line. The day ran exceptionally smooth all ending by 1.00pm.
I would like to thank all the parents that assisted with the running of the day.  The program wouldn’t run as smooth without you, give yourselves a good pat on the back.

With hungry stomachs and thirsty mouths our canteen did a roaring trade. Thankyou to all for supporting our canteen and BBQ, this is one of our major fund raisers and plays an important roll in the purchase of new equipment . Some of our most recent purchases have been new boxes for the canteen and aluminium boxes for our new radios.  We have also purchased a new Seiko Printable Stop Watch.
